Fragmentation in healthcare is a significant global challenge that results in duplicated efforts, unnecessary tests and treatments, higher costs, and suboptimal patient outcomes. This fragmentation arises from various factors, including the lack of standardized data exchange, inadequate coordination between healthcare providers, and misaligned incentives. By tackling fragmentation head-on, GCHC aims to bridge gaps in care and reduce disparities in access to healthcare.

GCHC operates as a ‘think-do tank’, utilizing a public-private partnership model that fosters collaboration between academia, foundations, NGOs, and private offices. Our approach is structured around three financing vehicles: the Convergence Foundation, the Convergence Fund, and the Technology Fund. The Convergence Foundation supports research and development activities through a Global Research Institute, while the Convergence Fund and the Technology Fund invest in the scaling of population health solutions and the development of breakthrough technologies respectively. By promoting integrated healthcare models that prioritize patient outcomes, we seek to revolutionize the way healthcare is delivered worldwide.
